As the year 2020 wrapped up, Sensor Tower data provided a glimpse into the trends among the top sandbox games on the iOS platform in Australia during the fourth quarter. Here's a look at how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Roblox by Roblox Corporation showcased remarkable numbers with a notable uptick in downloads, reaching 27K in the last week of December, up from 18K at the end of September. Revenue followed a similar upward trend, culminating at $509K in the final week of December. Weekly active users also increased gradually, peaking at 473K in the same period.

The Sims™ FreePlay, another popular title from Electronic Arts, displayed steady revenue with a rise to $30K in the last week of December from $24K at the start of the quarter. Downloads saw a progressive increase, finishing at 3K by the end of December. Active users showed a consistent growth, ending at over 10K in the final week.

Meanwhile, TSM Game experienced fluctuating revenues, ending on a high note at $12K in the last week of December. Downloads peaked mid-December at 5K, while active users reached their highest at 9K in the same month.
